Are you an approved PLCB Server/Seller Online Provider?
Yes, all approved providers are listed on the PLCB Website.
Do the trainees receive a certificate?
Yes. Once they pass the training they can download, print and email copies of their certificates.
What if I fail?
There is no cost to re-take the training. The PLCB mandates that the entire training has to be completed again.
How does it work to re-take training after failing?
If you fail the training, you will be taken back to the Training Introduction page to begin the training again. If you log out and log back in, you will also be taken to this page. Training is reset after taking the Final Exam, regardless of results, and you must take the training in its entirety again before re-taking the Final Exam.
How long is the training?
The instructional part is ~2 hours, followed by a 30-question Final Exam.
How soon does my score go to the PLCB?
As soon as you pass/fail the training your results with your personal information is sent directly to PLCB.
Can I stop and start the training?
As long as you have not yet started the Final Exam, yes. You can log out and back in using your username and password. All sections completed will appear on the right hand side of the introduction page (bottom of the page on mobile devices). If you log out after starting the Final Exam, the system will fail you!
What is the cost for the training?
Individuals – $15.00. Employers can purchase in bulk at discounted pricing. Pricing is listed on home page of site.
How do I pay for the training?
Once you sign up you will be directed to a Secure PayPal account which allows you to pay with any credit card. If your employer has given you a coupon code, that can be entered on the Registration page, and there will be no charge to you personally.
Can the training be taken on mobile phones, tablets, etc.?
Yes, but the layout might be different due to the size of the device. Completed portions of the training typically appear on the right side of the screen on desktop computers, and at the bottom of mobile devices.

What if I get kicked off the site while taking the training? Will I have to start all over again?
Once you contact us, we can see where you were at in the training and get you started again.
Do I have to work for an establishment to take the training?
No. Anyone can take the training. You must be 18 to serve alcohol.
What is a LID#? Do I have to have one or add one to my registration?
The LID# is on an employer’s liquor license and can be added to your registration to populate under its LID#. No, you do not have to have a LID#.
How long is the training valid for?
Training is valid for 2 years.
Can the Online Server/Seller Training be taken as a group?
No. Online training is done individually. In-person classroom training is done as a group.
Can you look up my training?
Yes, but only if you took it under LynnHainerTraining.com. If you took the training via another online provider, we cannot look up your information. Alternatively, you can search for your training in the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board’s online database (PLCB+). You should have received an email from the PLCB with login information upon passing the training. We cannot provide login information for PLCB+.
