Shown here is the reverse side of a Pennsylvania driver’s license or identification card. Please take note that the magnetic strip has been eliminated. The ID contains a one-D and two-D barcode. The two-D barcode contains information from the front of the card, unique to the cardholder that may be scanned by a transaction scan device. If you have a transaction scan device and it is not able to read the new ID, please contact your company or software provider for updates.
The cardholder’s date of birth appears again in the top left corner.
